Job Description:
The Sales Information Coordinator position is primarily responsible for supplier billbacks, supplier accounts receivable, processing warehouse orders for chain customers, and maintaining pricing in customer online portals. This role is also responsible for tracking and recapping sales programs, reporting sales data and goal results to the sales teams and managers, and assisting customers and suppliers with reporting and other requests. The most successful Sales Information Coordinator will be able to rely on management instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position. They will also assist other commercial team employees in developing sales tools and presentations, and will assist in planning and coordinating sales events including the annual trade show.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Calculate, process, and submit supplier billback invoices.
  • Maintain billback guidelines and document supplier funding commitments.
  • Manage supplier accounts receivable, including requesting payment for past-due balances and coordinating escalation with management when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned chain accounts, including processing invoices, coordinating delivery schedules with the operations department, and providing operational and inventory transparency to customers and private label suppliers.
  • Maintain pricing in online portals for national and local chain customers, and assist the Trade Development Manager in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain sales programs in the DIPA reporting tool, and assist sales Division Directors in recapping results.
  • Collaborate with sales managers and others in the trade development department to create marketing and sales tools.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating sales events including the annual trade show, on-premise activations, and company functions.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze reports to satisfy customer, supplier, and management requests. Provide insight to the commercial and operations teams and improve ongoing communication.
  • Support sales teams and managers with sales administrative duties as needed.
  • Serve as backup for administrative tasks normally performed by other members of the commercial and operations teams.
  • Interact professionally with colleagues at all levels of the organization, and with external collaborators.

Required Qualifications:
  • Skills & Abilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be proficient in Excel as well as other Microsoft Office programs.
    • Ability to adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Years of Experience
    • 3+ years’ experience in a customer service, consumer products sales support, or accounts receivable role.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a high proficiency in Excel a must.
    • AS/400 experience (preferred).
  • Education
    • Associate degree (preferred).
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
The work environment is a climate-controlled office area. The noise level is usually low. This position requires constant seated computer use and frequent telephone use, frequent walking, frequent lifting of weights under 10 pounds, and occasional lifting of weights up to 50 pounds.
